Product Availability: The EWI products shown on this website are limited to the models of stock on hand.
Custom products: Audiopile is equipped to make minor modifications to stock EWI products, such as changing some types of cord ends. The production of custom models differing fundamentally from the stock models shown on this website is generally beyond the capabilities of Audiopile. Requests for products not stocked by Audiopile will be forwarded to EWI for consideration.
Shipping: Orders of less than 150 lbs. in weight are generally shipped via Ground Service unless arrangements have been made otherwise. Larger shipments may be restricted to or be more cost effectively shipped by LTL freight.
Payment: Payment in full is due at the time of shipment. Accepted payment methods include Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, and checks drawn on US bank accounts. Purchase orders are generally not accepted unless prior arrangements have been made. Audiopile does not ship COD or offer credit accounts.
Warranty policy: The EWI products distributed by Audiopile are warranted by EWI to be free from defects in material and workmanship for the time periods described within the product web pages of this website. Audiopile is the authorized warranty and/or repair center for all EWI products sold directly by Audiopile in the US. In the event of a warranty claim our policy is that the customer is responsible for the return of the item to Audiopile. In case of defects in material or workmanship, Audiopile agrees, at its option, to repair or replace a defective EWI product within the warranty time period without charge. To obtain repair or replacement under this warranty, the product must be returned by the customer to Audiopile at 604 N. First St., or to Box 6 (if returning by USPS), Farmington, WA 99128. Proof of purchase is required to file a warranty claim. No responsibility is assumed by Audiopile or EWI for incidental or consequential damages, nor for damage to products due to accidental or mis-use, neglect, alteration, or other causes not directly associated with defects in material or workmanship. Some states may not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages so the above limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which may vary from state to state. This warranty is void if the product was not purchased directly from Audiopile.
Return Policy: Customers may return unused items in the original packaging within 15 days of receiving the order. Returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Refunds do not include any shipping charges shown on the packaging slip or invoice. Shipping charges for all returns are the customer's responsibility. Call 509-287-2020 to schedule a return.
New state taxes for internet sales: Based on last year's Supreme Court decision
of "South Dakota vs. Wayfair, INC regarding interstate/internet sales, some individual
states are requiring sellers to charge sales/use tax on sales coming into their
states. Audiopile Distributing is complying with these individual states
requirements and will be collecting sales
tax for remittance to the requiring
states until the requirements are
changed. Here we will list these states' required wording as we are
notified.
Alabama: ”Seller
has collected the simplified sellers use tax on taxable transactions delivered
into Alabama and the tax will be remitted on the customer’s behalf to the
Alabama Department of Revenue. Seller’s
program account number is SSU-R010128909.”
