This
¼” TRS 4 channel effects snake is a specialty item.
It’s primary function is to patch effects to a mix console
or patch a mix console to a recording/playback device.
The fantails are approximately 15” each with a functional
spread of about 28”.
The 4 channels are color coded (red, blue, white, and
yellow) with 1 channels per color.
Since all the ends are fully wired to the TRS ¼”
connectors, this snake can be used for balanced or unbalanced
patching.
The
main trunk is constructed with EWI SMM cable.
This is a triple insulated cable with each channel fully
jacketed.
The conductors are 22ga. high purity copper with each
channel’s two conductors surrounded by a 95% coverage spiral
copper shield.
The ends are heavy duty EWI P292S-BKG.
Both fantails are clearly labeled 1 through 4.
The individual channel labeling is printed with indelible ink
and is very durable and fairly easy to read.
This effects snake was designed by users to be
user friendly.
