The EWI SLMN series cables are constructed with the EWI Starline tm
cable, which is two strands of 22 ga. 99.98% high copper purity main
conductors plus 95% coverage braided shield.
The
ends are genuine NEUTRIK NC3FXX and NC3MXX which are
the next generation of the worldwide accepted standard
of XLR cable connectors. The successor of the X series offers
several new features which make it more reliable and improves
contact integrity as well cable strain relief. Each cable is labeled with the
length and model. The colored bands which are sold separately
are available in several colors and are changeable without having to
unsolder the cable, simply unscrew the metal body from the boot and
replace. Changing the color can make it easier to find a particular
length in a pile of cables or identifying a mic on stage. The SLMN cables come standard with black
bands.
These ends are fully compatible with all other standard 3 pin XLR
connectors.
These
are a low noise, extremely durable, yet very flexible mic cable. The EWI
SLMN mic cords work very well for either mic connections or
equipment interconnects.
