Technical Description: |
| The
EWI MP-101 series cables are constructed with the
EWI
Starline tm cable, which is two strands of 24 ga. 99.98% high copper
purity main conductors plus 95% coverage braided shield. The
ends are genuine EWI CH3F and CH3M which are a single screw assembly
crimp style connector. The
body of these connectors are nickel silver coated and the contact
points are good quality. These ends are fully compatible with
all other standard 3 pin XLR connectors, and I prefer using these
for interconnects between pieces of equipment equipped with plastic
panel jacks since they don't fit quite as tight as some other styles
of connectors.
These
are low noise, quality built mic cables.
The ends are hand soldered with good strain relief. The EWI
MP-101 mic cords work very well for either mic connections or
equipment interconnects.
