| This patchbay is equipped with dual EDAC 526-56
multi-pin disconnects which are wired to be compatible with standard
16ch. ADAT cables.
This is an extremely versatile patchbay for the folks that want to
plug and play rather than solder all day. The rack ears on the patchbay are detachable and reversible which allows you to mount the
patchbay in an effects rack with either the TRS panel jacks
"forward" or the 516 EDAC multi-pin disconnects
"forward" in the rack. Studio folks might want the
TRS panel jacks easy to access, and live audio folks would probably
want the EDAC disconnects easy to access.
The 32 ea. TRS panel jacks are wired straight through and labeled
consistent with standard ADAT cable nomenclature. There are
two EDAC 516-56 multi-pin disconnects labeled "A" and
"B". The 32 TRS panel jacks are labeled:
1) Ch. 1 IN 1-8
2) Ch 1 OUT 1-8
3) Ch 2 IN 1-8
4) Ch 2 OUT 1-8
The rack ears can be attached to either side of the patchbay so
the TRS connections or the EDAC connections face forward on a rack.
