This is the
EWI Tourcase tm
Model EAW-NT-26 Road Case, which is a pullover style case, suitable
for housing 2 each EAW NT26 speakers. This case could
also be suitable for other makes and models of speakers.
The EAW-NT-26 case is
equipped with 4 each medium sized recessed butterfly latches to
secure the cover to the tray. It is equipped
with 8 each recessed padded flip-handles, two on each side. The
rivets on the handles are backed with backing washers to ensure
strength and durability.
Four each 4" swivel casters are
included with this case, two of which are locking style and the
other two are regular swivel casters. The casters mount to the
3/4" plywood caster board on the bottom. This case also
has caster cups built into the top to allow stacking of another
case.
The extrusion is all aluminum
and double walled. The side panels are constructed with 3/8
inch hardwood plywood with an black ABS laminate surface. The
case is assembled with good quality rivets.
The inside of the
EAW-NT-26 case is fully padded with 3/8" thick high density foam
rubber. There is a divider in the tray, and a divider in the
pull over cover to separate and protect the two speakers. This case
also features 2" foam blocking, shaped to fit the speakers, inside
both the tray and lid compartments.
The
EWI Tourcases
are manufactured to exacting tolerances with excellent fit and
finish. This is a well made case that is intended to house two
EAW-NT26 speakers and possibly many other makes and models
of PA speakers, however:
Check the dimensions of your speakers for
proper fit before ordering.
